Kshatriya Women Nationwide Protest Against Atrocities on Women and Children

Kshatriya women across India protested against rising violence on women and children, demanding swift and severe government action.

JAMSHEDPUR – Kshatriya women from across India gathered in protest today, expressing their outrage over the increasing violence against women and children and the lack of stringent action by both state and central governments.

The protest, led by Central President Chanda Singh, took place at Baridih Golchakkar, where participants burned an effigy of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, demanding her resignation.

The women criticized Banerjee for failing to take strong action against perpetrators of sexual violence, particularly in her role as a woman leader.

The protest was driven by recent brutal incidents, including the gang rape and murder of Nisha Kumari in Madhubani, which followed the still unresolved Kolkata incident.

The women emphasized that neither children nor women are safe, whether at home or outside.

During the protest, the participants called on the central government to implement a policy where those convicted of such heinous crimes are executed within a month of their conviction, without any delay or leniency.

The protesters also voiced their frustration with the police and CBI, pointing to cases like the Sushant Singh Rajput investigation, where justice has yet to be served.

Prominent figures at the event included State Vice President Shweta Singh, Kolhan President Lakshmi Singh, District President Archana Singh, along with several other leaders like Vibha Singh, Anjali Singh, and Poonam Singh, who were all present to show their solidarity.
