Train Vendor Loses Both Legs in Accident at Tatanagar
Sunil Sahu, a train vendor from Makhdumpur, Parsudih, lost both legs in an accident while disembarking from a moving train near Tatanagar Washing Line.
Sunil Sahu, a 43-year-old train vendor from Makhadumpur Munshi Mohalla in Parsudih, suffered a severe accident on Saturday morning when he lost both his legs while trying to disembark from a moving train.
JAMSHEDPUR – Sunil Sahu, a resident of Makhadumpur Munshi Mohalla in Parsudih, met with a tragic accident on Saturday around 9:30 AM while working as a vendor on the Badampahar-Tata passenger train.
He was selling Pepsi and water on the train when it started moving after receiving a signal.
In his attempt to get off the train near the Tatanagar Washing Line, Sunil fell and was caught under the train, resulting in the loss of both his legs.
He was rushed to MGM Hospital for treatment.
The incident has left his family in deep distress, with his wife and two young children in shock.
Upon receiving the news, the Railway Protection Force (RPF) has started an investigation into the incident.
Vimal Baitha, informed by the family, quickly arranged for two units of blood and necessary medicines for Sunil’s treatment.
The community has rallied around the family, offering support during this difficult time.
