Jamshedpur Public School Commences Van Mahotsav Celebration

The four-day Van Mahotsav celebration at Jamshedpur Public School kicks off, emphasizing the importance of plants and nature.

JAMSHEDPUR – From 5th to 8th July 2023, Jamshedpur Public School is hosting a ‘Van Mahotsav’ celebration.

On the opening day, students were treated to a diverse program that emphasized the significance of plants.

The event began with a prayer to the Goddess of the Forest, followed by a dance, a song, and a Nukkad Natak, all depicting the role of trees in our lives.

The students each contributed to the initiative by planting saplings in pots and decorating them, making the school corridors vibrant and colorful.

Through these activities, the students gained a deeper understanding of the vital role of nature and plants in our survival.

They learnt that without plants, not only would human survival be threatened, but the beauty of our world would also be greatly diminished.
