Jamshedpur Police Arrests Scooter Theft Accused
Parsudih police in Jamshedpur have arrested a man accused of stealing a scooter.
The stolen scooter has been recovered from the accused.
JAMSHEDPUR – Parsudih police have apprehended Raja Prasad, a resident of Golpahari’s Naya Basti, in connection with a scooter theft case.
The stolen scooter has also been recovered from him.
On Saturday, the police sent Prasad to judicial custody following interrogation.
The incident dates back to June 21 when a fruit vendor’s scooter was stolen from Parsudih market.
The scooter owner filed a complaint at the police station, leading to an investigation that resulted in Raja Prasad’s arrest.
Recovery of the Stolen Scooter
Upon interrogation, Prasad revealed the location of the stolen scooter, which was subsequently recovered by the police.
Parsudih Police Station In-charge disclosed that Prasad, who has a history of theft, has been sent to jail again for his involvement in the scooter theft case.
"The accused has been involved in theft cases previously as well," said the station in-charge.
Police Investigation and Arrest
The investigation began promptly after the complaint was lodged.
Police conducted thorough inquiries which led them to the accused, Raja Prasad.
Following his arrest, Prasad admitted to the crime, leading to the recovery of the scooter.
