Indian Army FT secures a spot in the quarterfinals after a dramatic 3-2 victory over Jamshedpur FC in the Durand Cup.

In a thrilling Durand Cup Group D match, Indian Army FT defeated Jamshedpur FC 3-2 at the JRD Tata Sports Complex on Wednesday.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Indian Army Football Team (FT) secured a place in the Durand Cup quarterfinals with a stunning 3-2 comeback win over Jamshedpur FC at the JRD Tata Sports Complex.

The first half saw Jamshedpur FC dominate, with Spanish striker Javier Siverio scoring from a penalty in the 41st minute to give his team the lead.

Siverio extended JFC’s advantage with a second goal just before halftime, making it 2-0.

However, the second half belonged to the Indian Army team, which made tactical changes and launched an aggressive attack on JFC.

In a span of just 14 minutes, the Indian Army team dismantled JFC’s defense, with Rahul scoring in the 70th minute, Allen in the 76th, and Vikas in the 84th minute to seal the 3-2 victory.

The Indian Army FT’s impressive performance earned them a well-deserved spot in the quarterfinals, leaving Jamshedpur FC stunned by the unexpected turnaround.
