AJSU Party Stages Protest Against Jharkhand Government’s Broken Promises

AJSU Party commences demonstrations against Jharkhand government’s unfulfilled promises, staging a one-day sit-in at Jamshedpur district headquarters.

JAMSHEDPUR – The AJSU Party has begun protests against the Jharkhand government’s breach of promises, culminating in a one-day sit-in at the Jamshedpur district headquarters on Wednesday.

Chief General Secretary and former minister Ramchandra Sahis led the protest, attended by a large number of male and female party workers who vocally criticised the state government’s policies.

Sahis stated that none of the promises the state government made to the people before the elections have been fulfilled.

The state is seeing rampant unemployment, escalating crime rates, and a deteriorating health system, with MGM Hospital in Jamshedpur cited as a prime example.

Women’s safety in the state has been compromised, with increasing instances of violence reported.

Under the new education policy, students from disadvantaged classes are not receiving free higher education.

In response to these issues, the AJSU party has initiated ongoing protests, and a demand letter has been submitted to the state’s Governor through this sit-in.
