JAMSHEDPUR – Indian Army Football Team clinched a decisive 3-0 victory over Assam Rifles FT at the JRD Tata Sports Complex, propelling them to second place in Group D.

The Army squad dominated the game from the outset, utilizing their experience and high-pressure tactics.

Alan Thapa inaugurated the scoring with a breathtaking long-range strike in the 7th minute.

Despite Assam Rifles goalkeeper Shobhan Dev Biswas’s valiant efforts, he couldn’t prevent the Army’s onslaught.

Pradeep Singh successfully converted a penalty in the second half, doubling the Army’s advantage.
