Four suspects arrested in Bagbera liquor shop theft; police recover broken locker and cash

Bagbera Police have arrested four individuals in connection with the theft at a government liquor shop on Station Road, recovering a broken locker and ₹1,500 in cash.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Bagbera Police have successfully solved the theft case at a government liquor shop on Bagbera Station Road.

Four individuals have been arrested, three of whom are residents of Gandhi Nagar and one from Banjrang Tekri in Jugsalai.

The police recovered a broken black locker and ₹1,500 from the suspects.

Among the arrested, Deepak Sahu, another suspect, is still at large, and the police are conducting raids to apprehend him.

The theft occurred when the culprits cut through the tin roof of the shop, stealing ₹1.9 lakh in cash and liquor worth ₹40,000.

Following the incident, senior officials were informed, and a team was formed under the leadership of Bagbera SHO Pravesh Chandra Sinha to investigate the case.

The police’s swift action led to the arrest of the four suspects, who have now been sent to jail.
