Train Services Disrupted Through Tatanagar Due to Line Blocks
Multiple cancellations and route changes affect long-distance trains
South East Zone railway announces service disruptions for trains passing through Tatanagar due to line maintenance.
JAMSHEDPUR – Several train services passing through Tatanagar are facing disruptions due to line blocks in various railway divisions.
The Howrah-Ahmedabad Express via Tatanagar will be cancelled on August 10.
Shalimar-Mumbai Express faces cancellation on August 11 and August 19.
The Tatanagar-Itwari Express is cancelled on August 20.
Howrah-Mumbai Geetanjali Express will not run on August 14.
Multiple cancellations affect trains to Pune, Sainagar Shirdi, Hazur Sahib Nanded, and Okha throughout mid to late August.
"These changes are necessary for essential line maintenance," a railway official stated.
The Tatanagar-Hatia Express will run on an altered route via Chandil, Muri, and Gunda Vihar on select dates.
Asansol-Tatanagar MEMU train will terminate at Adra instead of Tatanagar on August 10, 16, and 18.
Long-distance trains, including the Ernakulam-Tatanagar Express, will operate on diverted routes until August 29.
Trains connecting Tatanagar to Yeshwantpur, Bengaluru, Ernakulam, Alleppey, and Tambaram will use alternate routes.
These changes extend into late August and early September for some services.
Passengers are advised to check updated schedules before traveling.
