IIT Kharagpur Launches Executive MBA Programme in Jamshedpur

IIT Kharagpur’s VGSoM introduces Executive MBA in Jamshedpur, featuring weekend classes and international immersion for working professionals.

JAMSHEDPUR – IIT Kharagpur’s Vinod Gupta School of Management has launched a two-year Executive MBA programme with weekend classes in Jamshedpur for working professionals.

The programme aims to provide a transdisciplinary approach for holistic business growth in today’s dynamic environment.

Designed for professionals looking to advance their careers while maintaining current job roles, the Executive MBA offers upskilling opportunities.

Dr. Sangeeta Sahney, Dean of VGSoM IIT Kharagpur, expressed enthusiasm about bringing the successful 12-year-old programme to Jamshedpur for the first time.

The two-year format includes a special international campus immersion, offering students valuable global exposure.

VGSoM has partnered with the Jamshedpur Management Association as their marketing collaborator for this initiative.

Prof. Surojit Mukherjee and Prof. Abhijit Chandra from VGSoM IIT Kharagpur, along with JMA team executives, were present at the announcement.

"This Executive MBA programme is a significant step towards empowering professionals with the knowledge and skills required to excel in their careers," stated Dr. Sahney.
