The deceased has been identified as Samurti Ranjan Das from Khurda, Bhubaneswar, Odisha.

Police have taken the body into custody and placed it in the TMH mortuary, awaiting the arrival of the family.

Police officer Nitin Kumar Singh stated that further actions will be taken based on the family’s application.

Das had been staying at the hotel since August 4.

The previous night, after having dinner, Das went to sleep in his room.
