Minister Deepak Birua Addresses Public Issues at JMM Meeting in Jhinkpani

Minister urges action on water issues and other public concerns during a JMM meeting in Jhinkpani.

Minister Deepak Birua met with JMM block committee members and workers to discuss and address various public issues in Jhinkpani block.

CHAIABASA – Minister Deepak Birua held a meeting with the JMM block committee and local workers at the JMM office in Jhinkpani block on Sunday.

The session focused on various public issues, with the minister urging attendees to connect with the community to solve these problems.

He emphasized that drinking water issues remain prevalent and warned that action would be taken against departments failing to address public concerns.

During the meeting, the minister listened to the problems reported by Panchayat-wise presidents, workers, and colleagues.

Major issues included drinking water shortages, malfunctioning hand pumps, and faulty water towers.

Complaints were also raised about delays in payments under the Birsa Irrigation Well Scheme.

The minister instructed the BDO to expedite the pending payments.

Additionally, he asked for a list of malfunctioning hand pumps to initiate repairs promptly.

Minister Birua also highlighted various welfare schemes of the Jharkhand government related to education, health, and electricity, urging the community to take full advantage of these programs.

JMM block president Chiria Biruli, along with leaders Pramukh Pradeep Tamsoy, Sarita Alda, Menjari Munda, Paru Hessa, Harilal Karji, Somnath Kunkal, Sanjeev Gop, Meghnath Gop, and many other men and women, attended the meeting.
