JAMSHEDPUR – The district administration has implemented extensive security measures for Muharram observances, deploying over 2,300 armed police personnel across the city.

"We’ve strategically positioned forces in sensitive areas like Mango, Jugsalai, and Golmuri," stated SSP Kishore Kaushal.

Key security measures include:

– Drone camera surveillance in Mango, Kadma, Bistupur, and Parsudih

– Flag march conducted across multiple localities

– Restrictions on heavy vehicle movement from 9 AM Wednesday to 6 AM Thursday

– Anti-riot demonstration at Golmuri Police Station

"Drone surveillance will help prevent disruptive activities during processions," a senior official explained.

The flag march, starting from Golmuri police line, covered areas including Telco, Burmamines, and Sakchi.

Rural SP Rishab Garg emphasized coordination among police units to ensure a secure environment.

An anti-riot drill demonstrated crowd-control techniques and emergency response procedures.
