Minister Banna Gupta’s Surprise Visit Uncovers Irregularities at Kadru FCI Godown

Minister warns officials of severe consequences for discrepancies and negligence.

In a surprise inspection on Thursday, Minister Banna Gupta uncovered several issues at the Kadru FCI godown, which stores grains for the underprivileged.

RANCHI – Minister Banna Gupta made a surprise visit to the Kadru FCI godown and noticed several problems, which caused a commotion among the staff who promptly gathered at the location.

When Minister Gupta arrived, he was clearly unhappy with how clean the area around the grain sacks was and reprimanded the staff in charge.

He told them to weigh the grain sacks and discovered that many of them were lighter than they were supposed to be.

He clearly stated that anyone found guilty of these discrepancies would face serious consequences.

Minister Gupta, who has recently assumed the responsibility of the Food, Public Distribution, and Consumer Affairs Department, has openly expressed his discontent with the current functioning of the department.

When he went to the Jharkhand State Food and Civil Supplies Corporation Limited (JSF & CSCL) godown in Kadru, Ranchi, he noticed that there were no officials present at first.

Officials from the Supply Corporation Limited arrived later, looking worried.

Feeling frustrated by the many faults he discovered, Minister Gupta decided to start examining the stock records.

He found out that the data entry for the previous month was not complete and scolded the officials.

The Minister, Gupta, also made phone calls to senior officials, urging them to promptly enhance the system.

The speaker emphasized that stealing food grains and any actions that harm the poor would not be accepted, regardless of the person responsible.

Banna Gupta, speaking to journalists, emphasized the importance of the Congress party’s Food Security Bill, which aims to address the issue of hunger throughout the country.

He made it clear that it is important for the government’s grain to reach the poor, in accordance with the vision of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.

The Minister, Mr. Gupta, emphasized his dedication to this responsibility and made it clear that any instances of wrongdoing would result in severe consequences for those involved.

During a recent meeting, Minister Gupta stressed the significance of making sure that food intended for the people is delivered to them on time and as per the planned distribution schedule.
