East Singhbhum Association Forms New Executive Committee for 2024-2028

JAMSHEDPUR – The Master Athletic Association of East Singhbhum has elected Jagannath Behera as its new President during its first Annual General Assembly.

The election took place at the Bengal Club auditorium in Sakchi.

Avtar Singh, an International Master Athlete, conducted the election as the nominated Election Officer.

Moreover, Assistant Election Observer Manik Lal Chatterjee supervised the proceedings.

The newly elected executive committee will serve from 2024 to 2028.

Former Deputy Development Commissioner B Maheshwari attended as the chief guest.

Additionally, Sanjay Singh, Vice President of Tata Workers Union, was present as a special guest.

Both dignitaries received honors during the event for their contributions.

Narayan Chandra Dev, H Ghosh, and Satpal Saini were elected as Senior Vice Presidents.

Furthermore, the association appointed six Vice Presidents to support the leadership team.

Shyam Kumar Sharma will serve as the Secretary of the organization.

The executive committee also includes positions such as Joint Secretary and Assistant Secretaries.

Guru Sharan Singh has been entrusted with the role of Treasurer.

On the other hand, Har Vilas Das will provide legal counsel as the Legal Advisor.

The association appointed Sidhu Kisku and Chetan Manjhi as coaches.

Twelve members were elected to serve on the Executive Committee.

Dr. Vijay Mohan Singh concluded the meeting with a vote of thanks.
