Woman Alleges Political Interference Behind Stopped Work
In Agrico, Jamshedpur, police stopped the construction of a house on private land owned by Shankari Bhumi on Wednesday.
Jamshedpur – Shankari Bhumi, a resident of Sidhgora, was constructing a house on her private land near Agrico Nala when the police allegedly intervened and halted the work.
Shankari Bhumi stated that she was building on land legally owned by her late husband, Jhadu Bhumi.
She claimed that police interference has repeatedly stopped the construction work.
Allegations of Political Influence
Shankari Bhumi’s family accused certain leaders from the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) of orchestrating the police’s actions to seize their land.
Shankari Bhumi currently resides with her daughter and has previously filed a complaint with Deputy Commissioner Ananya Mittal regarding this issue.
The incident raises concerns about political interference and the misuse of authority to hinder legitimate construction on private property.
