JAMSHEDPUR – A series of programmes dedicated to Rajasthani culture and language, Kajri Teej, and Sindhara were organized in a joint effort by the Lions Club of Jamshedpur Premium and Aggarwal Yuva Manch.
Access to a swing was provided for the female attendees, enhancing the festive atmosphere of the programme.
Vendors selling henna, bangles, churan, and sweets added to the local flavour of the event.
Around 300 women, dressed in vibrant green, yellow, queen, and blue outfits, participated with gusto in the event, held at Agrasen Bhawan.
Highlighting the traditional aspects, the programme offered mehendi and other decorative activities for the ladies.
Women adorned with sixteen types of ornaments strutted down a makeshift ramp, and each participant was gifted with a Ghevar, a Rajasthani sweet, as a token of appreciation.
Further entertainment came in the form of a musical Tambola game with exciting prizes, and various other small activities and dance competitions for women and children.
The event saw the tireless efforts of social workers, journalists, club directors, presidents, yoga instructors, and many other individuals contributing to its success.
The end of the programme was marked by an array of delectable dishes, including a wide variety of snacks, sweets, and main course items, giving a satisfying end to the culturally-rich day.
