Tata Workers’ Union Leaders Present Gifts And Well-Wishes To Departing Employees

Event recognizes dedicated service to both company and union.

JAMSHEDPUR – Tata Steel recently held a farewell event at the Union Premises on July 5, 2024, to show appreciation for 12 employees who were retiring after dedicating many years of service.

"The dedication shown by these employees to both Tata Steel and our union is greatly appreciated," said Sanjeev Kumar Choudhary, President of Tata Workers’ Union.

The event was graced by important union officials, such as General Secretary Satish Kumar Singh and Vice Presidents Shahnawaz Alam and Sanjeev Tiwary.

Retirees were given bouquets and gifts as a way to show appreciation for their service.

"Choudhary added, ‘We extend our heartfelt wishes to our retiring colleagues for a peaceful and pleasant life ahead.’"

Assistant Secretary Shyam Babu and Treasurer Amod Kumar Dubey were also present during the felicitation.

The ceremony showcased Tata Steel’s dedication to acknowledging the valuable contributions made by their long-term employees.

This event highlights the close bond between the company and its workers’ union.

The farewell function is a special tradition that is held to show appreciation for the careers and transitions of employees who are leaving.
