Chief Minister To Distribute Appointment Letters To 1500 Plus Two Teachers

Ceremony Set For July 3 At Prabhat Tara Ground In Dhurva

The event marks the second phase of appointments initiated in 2022 for 3120 teaching positions.

RANCHI – Chief Minister Champai Soren is scheduled to distribute appointment letters to over 1500 newly selected plus two teachers on July 3, as announced by the School Education and Literacy Department.

The appointment ceremony will take place at Prabhat Tara ground in Dhurva, commencing at 12 noon.

"This event represents our commitment to strengthening the education system in Jharkhand," a department spokesperson stated.

State Finance Minister Rameshwar Oraon and Labor Minister Satyanand Bhokta are also expected to attend the ceremony.

This distribution marks the second phase of a larger appointment process for 3120 plus two teachers, initiated in 2022.

The first phase saw approximately 1000 teachers receiving appointment letters in March of this year.

"We’ve completed the certificate verification process for all newly selected teachers," the department official confirmed.

The appointments cover various subjects including Mathematics, History, Hindi, Economics, Sanskrit, English, and Commerce.

This initiative aims to address the teacher shortage in higher secondary schools across Jharkhand.

Education experts have welcomed the move, citing its potential to improve the quality of education in the state.

The department has urged all selected candidates to arrive at the venue on time with necessary documents.
