Senior Congress Leaders Join BJP in Chaibasa, Impressed by Modi’s Public Welfare Initiatives
State BJP Leaders Welcome New Entrants, Urge Unified Effort to Secure Geeta Koda’s Victory
In a significant political development, senior officials from the Congress party’s district unit and Chaibasa city unit joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at the Lok Sabha office on Tuesday, citing their admiration for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s public welfare work.
CHAIBASA – The BJP’s ranks in Chaibasa received a boost as senior Congress party officials from the district and city units switched allegiance, impressed by the public welfare initiatives undertaken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The new entrants were warmly welcomed by BJP State General Secretary MP Pradeep Verma, State Minister Saroj Singh, and Lok Sabha Convener Geeta Balmuchu, who garlanded them and presented them with body clothes.
Pradeep Verma extended a "Johar Namaskar" to the newcomers, asserting that their joining has strengthened the party and that the BJP will undoubtedly benefit from their experience.
He assured them of full respect within the party and urged them to collaborate with the experienced party workers to ensure a resounding victory for their candidate, Geeta Koda, from the Singhbhum Lok Sabha seat.
Verma emphasized the importance of contributing to Modi’s call to cross 400 seats, including Singhbhum, and to reinstate him as the Prime Minister of the country.
The newly inducted members, along with the BJP workers, raised slogans hailing the party, Narendra Modi, Geeta Koda, and Bharat Mata.
Among the prominent Congress leaders who joined the BJP were District Secretary Santosh Sinha, District Executive Member Rakesh Singh, Chaibasa City President Ajay Kumar, City Vice President Sanju Sao, City Secretary Dinesh Vishwakarma, and several senior workers and booth presidents.
The induction ceremony was attended by various BJP functionaries, including Mahila Morcha District President Durgavati Boypai, media in-charge Hemant Keshari, and other party workers.
The influx of experienced Congress leaders into the BJP fold is expected to bolster the party’s prospects in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, particularly in the Singhbhum constituency.
