JAMSHEDPUR – The Sri Laxminarayan Temple in Cable Town is set to host a grand five-day Prana Pratishtha Mahayagna from July 3rd to 7th, with preparations in full swing.

MLA Roy Saryu, patron of the temple committee, chaired a crucial planning meeting attended by prominent community members.

"Our goal is to ensure this sacred event proceeds with divine grace," Roy stated, emphasizing the importance of meticulous arrangements.

The Mahayagna will commence on July 3rd with Jal Yatra, Panchang Pujan, and other foundational rituals.

July 4th will feature deity invocations, worship rituals, and a Bhajan Sandhya in the evening.

The following days will see a progression of ceremonies including Havan, Devsnapan, and various ‘adhivas’ rituals.

On July 7th, the event will culminate with Japa, Pran Pratishtha of idols, and Poornahuti, followed by Bhog distribution.

Community members at the meeting pledged their support, with responsibilities allocated to ensure smooth execution of the event.

"This Mahayagna represents our collective devotion and unity," a temple committee member remarked.
