SIT Action Leads to Encounter in Bhurkunda Area

JAMSHEDPUR – A police encounter in Ramgarh’s Bhurkunda left a Dubey gang member injured during an anti-crime operation.

Meanwhile, Ramgarh police intensified action against the Rahul Dubey gang recently. The campaign aimed to curb rising criminal activities in the region.

However, on Monday, a major breakthrough was achieved during a raid. The operation took place in the Bhurkunda OP area.

Moreover, a Special Investigation Team was already formed earlier. The team was conducting continuous raids at suspected locations.

Meanwhile, officials received a confidential tip about Sunny Singh. He was reportedly planning a major crime with associates.

However, the SIT team launched a search in Bhurkunda and Patratu. The operation became focused near Dumuhana temple.

Meanwhile, police surrounded the area and began checking suspicious movements. A suspect was identified during the search.

However, the accused opened fire after spotting the police vehicle. Bullets hit the vehicle’s glass and bumper.

Meanwhile, the Patratu police station in-charge narrowly escaped the attack. No officer was injured during the firing.

However, police retaliated promptly during the encounter. The accused was shot in his right leg.

Meanwhile, Sunny Singh collapsed at the spot after being injured. Police took him into custody immediately.

Moreover, he was given primary treatment after arrest. Later, he was sent to CCL hospital in Bhurkunda.

Meanwhile, police recovered two country-made pistols from the spot. A mobile phone and leather bag were also seized.

However, officials are now examining the recovered items. Further leads about gang members are being investigated.

Moreover, police believe a major crime was prevented in time. The crackdown against the gang is ongoing.

Meanwhile, raids have intensified to capture other members. The investigation into the case continues.
