Ichagarh Embarks on Voter Awareness Drive

Local activities and rangoli art promote 100% voting in upcoming Lok Sabha Elections

In the run-up to the 2024 Lok Sabha General Elections, the Ichagarh block witnessed a vibrant voter awareness campaign, marking a significant effort to promote electoral participation under the SVEEP program.

JAMSHEDPUR – The campaign encompassed various clusters within Ichagarh, including Chimtiya and Khokhro, where local women played a pivotal role by creating awareness through the art of rangoli.

This initiative is part of a broader effort to ensure 100 percent voting in the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections, emphasizing the importance of every vote in strengthening democracy.

Participants were encouraged to exercise their franchise responsibly, underscoring the pivotal role of voting in a democratic society.

Comprehensive information was provided about the electoral system, the significance of voting, and the 1950 voter helpline number, aiming to boost voter registration and awareness.

Citizens were urged to verify their names in the voter list and to register using Form 6 through BLO or the Voter Help Line App if necessary, ensuring their readiness to participate in the electoral process.

The community took a collective oath to actively participate in the electoral process, further committing to spread awareness about voting among their families and neighbors.

The drive also aimed to inspire individuals to play an active role in enhancing voter awareness within their communities, contributing to a well-informed and participatory electoral process.
