RANCHI – The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Jharkhand is ramping up preparations for the upcoming assembly elections with the arrival of central leaders in Ranchi.
Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Union Minister and BJP’s Jharkhand election in-charge, arrived in Ranchi on Saturday to a grand welcome.
Himanta Biswa Sarma, Assam Chief Minister and co-in-charge, is scheduled to reach Ranchi on June 23 at 9 AM.
The leaders will participate in organizational meetings at the state BJP office on June 23.
BJP will launch a tree planting drive "Ek Vriksh Maa Ke Naam" from June 23 to July 6, aiming to plant lakhs of trees across the state.
State BJP President Babulal Marandi, Leader of Opposition Amar Kumar Bauri, and other key leaders will participate in the tree planting initiative.
The party will focus on organizational programs and assembly election preparations following the Lok Sabha elections.
Chouhan will stay at ICAR, Namkum and plant saplings there on June 23 morning before heading to the BJP office for meetings.
Sarma will plant saplings at Lichi Bagan, Jagannathpur upon his arrival before joining the meetings at the state office.
The visit has energized party workers, with Ranchi urban and rural district units organizing a grand traditional welcome at the airport.
The state office held a preparatory meeting for upcoming events, assigning responsibilities to various party members.
State Organizational General Secretary Karmveer Singh provided detailed instructions to ensure the success of upcoming programs.
This high-profile visit marks the beginning of BJP’s intensified campaign for the Jharkhand assembly elections.
