RANCHI – Prime Minister Narendra Modi has concluded his Jharkhand visit with significant announcements for tribal welfare.

Following a successful public meeting in Khunti on Tribal Pride Day, he returned to Delhi.

Governor CP Radhakrishnan, Chief Minister Hemant Soren, and Union Minister Arjun Munda bid farewell at Ranchi Airport.

Modi’s trip was marked by the launch of schemes worth Rs 24,000 crore for Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTG).

These initiatives aim to impact approximately 28 lakh individuals across India.

The PVTG Development Mission is designed to provide comprehensive support to tribal communities.

Key focus areas include basic amenities, healthcare, and educational access in remote regions.

In Khunti, Modi paid homage to tribal heritage by applying Birsa Munda’s sacred soil on his forehead.

He emphasized strengthening India’s tribal communities as a national priority.

The Prime Minister highlighted women, farmers, youth, and the middle class as development pillars.

His speech reflected a commitment to prioritizing the underprivileged, addressing past neglect, and promoting inclusive growth.

Modi assured the nation of comprehensive access to essential services for every citizen.

His vision includes transforming over 110 underdeveloped districts into aspirational ones.

These districts, predominantly tribal, will see enhanced education, health, and infrastructure.

Women’s empowerment was a key theme, with Modi aspiring to make 2 crore women economically self-reliant.

He underscored his commitment to addressing women’s challenges personally.

Schemes like Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana and Sickle Cell Disease Eradication are part of the coverage.

In closing, Modi called on the Jharkhand government to adopt a 25-year transformation plan.

He stressed the importance of collaborative efforts for comprehensive national progress.
