BJP Leader Rajiv Ranjan Singh Plants Trees in Kadma Under ‘Ek Pedh Maa Ke Naam’ Campaign

JAMSHEDPUR – BJP leader Rajiv Ranjan Singh, who is a retired IPS officer, joined Kadma Mandal President Rajesh Singh and members of the Kadma Mandal Women’s Wing in a tree plantation drive.

This drive was part of the ‘Ek Pedh Maa Ke Naam’ campaign and took place at the Ramjanmangar Football Ground in Kadma.

The event was organized in response to a request from Prime Minister Narendra Modi to protect the environment. Its main objective was to increase awareness about the significance of preserving nature.

Promoting environmental and cultural values

Rajiv Ranjan Singh highlighted the importance of the ‘Ek Pedh Maa Ke Naam’ campaign, which not only encourages environmental conservation but also nurtures the special connection of serving one’s mother.

"You can’t give anything to a mother, but you can show true respect by planting trees and keeping the environment clean," Singh stated.

He recently announced that his non-governmental organization, Birsa Yuva Manch, has plans to plant one lakh trees in the Western Assembly area in the near future.

Appeal to public,

Singh also made a heartfelt request to the public, urging them to take responsibility for their children’s future by educating them about the significance of protecting the environment, in addition to their academic pursuits.

The event was attended by several important individuals, including BJP Mandal President Rajesh Singh, Balvinder Singh Kalsi, Vishwajit Singh, Yashveer Singh, Rahul Bhattacharya, Bhola Singh, and members of the women’s wing such as Shobha Srivastava, Guddi Singh, Bina Devi, Sunita Devi, and Sangeeta Lodhi.
