Art of Living expert leads campus-wide celebration, fostering wellness in education

Jamshedpur’s technical education hub unites faculty and students in commemorating International Yoga Day with an energizing morning session.

JAMSHEDPUR – The R.D. Tata Technical Education Centre in Golmuri has marked the 10th International Yoga Day with a vibrant yoga session, bringing together faculty and students in a celebration of holistic well-being.

The institute’s campus buzzed with energy as participants gathered early to start their day with yoga, embodying the spirit of physical and mental wellness.

Dr. Anil Ray from Art of Living graced the event as the chief guest, bringing his expertise to guide the yoga practices.

The Patanjali Yoga Committee also contributed to the event, enhancing the depth and variety of yoga techniques shared.

Nirmal Kumar Mahato of the institute extended a warm welcome to the esteemed guests, setting a tone of respect and unity for the celebration.

Deepak Ojha served as the event coordinator, ensuring the smooth execution of the program from start to finish.

Key figures including Smriti Shilpa, Pankaj Gupta, Shiva Prasad, Nakul Kumar, Ranjit Kumar, Vishwadeep, and Nirnay Kumar Mahato played crucial roles in organizing and facilitating the event.

The yoga session incorporated a variety of asanas and breathing exercises, catering to participants of all skill levels and promoting overall wellness.

"Yoga is not just a physical practice, but a path to harmonizing mind, body, and spirit," Dr. Ray emphasized during his address to the attendees.

Students expressed their appreciation for the event, with many noting the sense of calm and focus they felt after the session.

"This was an invigorating way to start our day and set a positive tone for our studies," shared Aarti Singh, a third-year student at the institute.
