Police Arrest Man with 3.4 kg Ganja in Jamshedpur

In Sundernagar, police arrested Buddhu Patra with 3.4 kg of ganja, sending him to judicial custody.

JAMSHEDPUR – Buddhu Patra, also known as Budhu Patra, was arrested in Sundarnagar police station area with 3.4 kg of ganja last evening.

He was sent to jail in judicial custody on Saturday.

Rural SP Rishabh Garg informed that a raiding team was formed following instructions from Jamshedpur SSP.

The police received a tip-off about a person in a black T-shirt walking on Dungri Wala Road in Khukhdadih, Sundarnagar area.

Acting on the information, the raiding team reached the location.

Upon seeing the police, the suspect, standing under a tree, attempted to flee into the bushes.

However, the raiding team apprehended him and recovered 3.4 kg of ganja from his bag.

The arrested accused has been taken into judicial custody as the investigation continues.

The police operation highlights their ongoing efforts to combat drug trafficking in the region.

Authorities urge the public to report any suspicious activities to help maintain law and order.
