Special Lok Adalat Settles 42 Motor Accident Cases in Jamshedpur
Event Facilitated by Eight Benches Distributes Over Rs 2.6 Crore
A special Lok Adalat in Jamshedpur resolved 42 motor vehicle accident claims, distributing over Rs 2.6 crore to beneficiaries.
JAMSHEDPUR – A special Lok Adalat focusing on motor vehicle accident claims, organized by the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), successfully disposed of 42 cases in Jamshedpur.
Under the guidance of the Jharkhand State Legal Services Authority (JHALSA), the event facilitated the disbursement of Rs 2,64,04,984 among various beneficiaries.
To ensure smooth proceedings, eight benches, comprising judicial and non-judicial officials, were established.
Principal District Judge Anil Kumar Mishra inaugurated the special Lok Adalat, highlighting the significance of such initiatives in expediting the resolution of pending cases and providing relief to the people.
During the event, Judge Mishra personally distributed cheques to the beneficiaries of motor vehicle accident claims.
"The prompt resolution of cases through Lok Adalats brings substantial benefits to the claimants," Judge Mishra remarked.
Secretary of District Legal Services Authority, Rajendra Prasad, along with other judicial officers, was also present at the event.
This initiative underscores the commitment of legal authorities in Jharkhand to address and resolve pending legal matters efficiently.
The involvement of both judicial and non-judicial officials ensured the effective functioning of the Lok Adalat.
Beneficiaries expressed their gratitude for the timely resolution and disbursement of claims.
