Jamshedpur East to Undergo Fortnight Development Review Program: Saryu Roy

Joint review of development works to be conducted in Jamshedpur East Assembly constituency

A fortnight program to evaluate development projects will be carried out in Jamshedpur East Assembly constituency from Sunday, May 19 to June 3.

JAMSHEDPUR – Starting from Sunday, May 19, a fortnight-long review program will be held in Jamshedpur East Assembly constituency to assess the development works executed over the past four years, including the two-year Corona period.

The quality of the development work will be critically examined.

Any flaws or deficiencies in these projects will be identified and addressed.

The initiative began in the Baridih area of Baridih division with a public dialogue program.

MLA Saryu Roy, along with Bharatiya Jantantra Morcha workers, visited various areas to inspect the development works.

The public present at the event honored MLA Roy for the development work accomplished in the last four years.

Residents noted that more development had been done in this period than in the previous 20-25 years.

People highlighted missing development works and showed the MLA the existing problems.

MLA Roy stated that Rs 128 crore 71 lakh 66 thousand 587 had been spent on development works in the area over the last four years.

This includes Rs 19 crore 6 lakh 28 thousand 890 from the MLA Fund, Rs 61 crore 38 lakh 36 thousand 682 from the Urban Development Fund and 15th Finance Commission, and Rs 42 crore 56 lakh 64 thousand 500 from the Road Construction Department.

Projects from the Rural Department and Untied Fund Scheme have also been completed.

Special efforts resulted in the implementation of 52.3 kilometers of roads and several bridges and culverts from the Rural Development Department.

MLA Roy provided a toll-free number 1800-121-2395 and WhatsApp number 8877537777 for residents to report issues.

He urged the public to inform his office of any deficiencies in development work or problems with water supply, electricity, and cleanliness.

Residents can send messages and photos to highlight these issues.

On Sunday, MLA Roy visited the site of a fire at Lakshmi Timber in Burmamines and expressed his sorrow over the incident.

He commended the timely efforts to control the fire.

A local resident, remarked, "The review program is a great initiative to ensure the quality of development work in our area."

Another Saryu Roy supporter added, "We are committed to addressing all issues raised by the public during this program."
