JAMSHEDPUR – A youth, Shamshad Alam, was attacked with a razor on Pani Tanki Road in Golmuri, resulting in serious injuries.

After being injured, Shamshad reached Golmuri police station with his friends.

The police promptly sent him to MGM Hospital for treatment.

A friend of Shamshad at the hospital recounted that they were near the Imambara when they heard shouting.

They ran towards Pani Tanki Road and saw two youths holding and beating a boy.

When Shamshad tried to intervene, he was attacked with a razor.

According to sources, all the youths involved in the altercation are local residents of Golmuri Gadabasa.

The police are investigating the incident and are on the lookout for the assailants.
