JAMSHEDPUR – The Media Cup 2025 cricket tournament, dedicated to industrialist Ratan Tata, begins January 28 at Cooperative College Ground.

Eight teams will participate in this year’s tournament. Four teams will represent the Press Club of Jamshedpur. Meanwhile, teams from police, bar association, doctors and college staff will compete against them.

Distinguished Guests at Opening

Deputy Commissioner Anay Mittal will inaugurate the tournament at 11:30 AM. Moreover, MLA Mangal Kalindi and SSP Kaushal Kishore will attend the ceremony.

Special Teams and Matches

The opening match features Press Club XI against SSP XI. Furthermore, teams from Bar Association, medical professionals and college employees will play friendly matches.

Tournament Format

The tournament continues until February 8. In addition, Rural SP Rishabh Garg and Bar Association leaders will grace the event.
