Khudiram Bose’s Death Anniversary to be Honored in Jamshedpur
Bongo Bandhu to organize floral tributes and blood donation camp on August 11.
In honor of martyr Khudiram Bose, who sacrificed his life at the age of 18, Bongo Bandhu will organize a tribute event on August 11.
JAMSHEDPUR – To commemorate the death anniversary of the young martyr Khudiram Bose, the social organization Bongo Bandhu, along with other Bongoali associations, will organize a tribute event at Mango Golchakkar.
The organization’s president, Aparna Guha, announced that members will gather at Bhuinyadih Durga Puja Ground at around 9 AM on the said date.
They will then proceed to Mango Bus Stand Golchakkar, holding the national flag, and march towards Khudiram Bose’s statue across the Mango Bridge to offer floral tributes.
During the event, all participants will pledge to promote the Bongoali language and follow the ideals of Khudiram Bose.
Aparna mentioned that preparations, including cleaning and decorating the statue site, will take place on the evening of August 10.
Patriotic songs will be played from the morning of August 11 at the venue.
Over 40 members and representatives of the organization are expected to participate, with an anticipated attendance of nearly three thousand people.
Additionally, a blood donation camp will be held on August 17 in memory of the martyr.
