Anjani Kumar Appointed New SHO of Kandra, Prioritizes Crime Crackdown
Anjani Kumar has officially taken charge as the new SHO of Kandra, replacing Vinod Murmu, who was removed following the Election Commission’s action in the Geeta Koda case.
Anjani Kumar, previously posted in Jamshedpur and transferred to Chaibasa, has now assumed his new role in Kandra, Seraikela Kharsawan.
SERAIKELA – Anjani Kumar has been appointed as the new SHO of Kandra in Saraikela Kharsawan, succeeding Vinod Murmu.
Murmu was removed from his position due to the Election Commission’s action related to the Geeta Koda case.
Kumar was transferred to Chaibasa just before the Lok Sabha elections and has now been assigned to Kandra.
Previously, Kumar served in Jamshedpur and was later moved to Seraikela for health reasons, where he was the CCR in-charge.
Kumar has a history of serving in Seraikela, having been the station in-charge of RIT.
He is recognized as a competent police officer with a strong track record.
Upon taking command of Kandra police station, Kumar emphasized his focus on tackling crime and criminal activities in the area.
He stated that addressing illegal businesses would be a key priority.
Kumar also highlighted his commitment to improving policing by working collaboratively with the community.
The new SHO aims to bring effective and inclusive law enforcement to Kandra.
Residents are hopeful that Kumar’s experience and proactive approach will enhance safety and security in the region.
