Meteorological Department Warns of Severe Weather Across Jharkhand

The Meteorological Department’s state weather center has issued an alert for possible thunderstorms and high winds throughout Jharkhand on May 13 and 14, with wind speeds reaching up to 40 kilometers per hour.

RANCHI – On May 13, residents in northeastern and southern Jharkhand should brace for severe weather conditions, including thunderstorms and gusty winds.

Several districts, including East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, and Seraikela-Kharsawan, are expected to experience these harsh weather conditions.

Light rainfall and thundershowers are also predicted across these regions, potentially affecting daily activities.

The forecast for May 14 indicates a continuation of stormy weather in areas like Sahibganj and Godda.

Weather authorities anticipate minimal temperature fluctuations in the coming two days, but a slight warming trend is expected thereafter.

Local authorities are urging the public to heed weather updates and prepare accordingly.
