Newly Appointed School Council Takes Oath, Pledging to Empower and Inspire Fellow Students

JUSCO School South Park recently held its most auspicious ceremonial occasion, the Investiture Ceremony, with great zeal, zest, and enthusiasm, marking a momentous event where the school entrusted hope, faith, and the mantle of responsibility to the newly appointed school council.

JAMSHEDPUR – In a solemn and inspiring ceremony, JUSCO School South Park celebrated the Investiture Ceremony, a significant occasion where the school bestowed trust and confidence in the newly elected office bearers, empowering them to lead and guide their fellow students.

The event was graced by the presence of Alok Pandey, Head Safety and Construction, Tata Steel, who served as the Chief Guest.

In his address, Pandey emphasized the importance of inculcating values such as punctuality, dedication, discipline, and determination, reminding the students of their role as the torch bearers of tomorrow.

He urged the office bearers to work with a spirit of unity, keeping the interests of the student body at the forefront.

Pandey congratulated the newly appointed council members and aptly noted that leadership is not about enjoying one’s power but rather a means to empower others.

Mili Sinha, the school Principal, commended the honesty, confidence, and clarity in thoughts demonstrated by the office bearers during the selection process.

She expressed her wish for them to work not only for the betterment and growth of their fellow students but also for their personal development.

The ceremony witnessed the school Presidents, Captains, Vice Presidents, Captains & Vice Captains of the five houses, Sports & Discipline Moderators, and various club Moderators taking their oaths, administered by the school Principal.

They were conferred with badges, sashes, and flags, symbolizing their new roles and responsibilities.

In a symbolic gesture, Sanjana Mahata, the outgoing school president, handed over the school flag to the newly elected Presidents Satyam Kumar & Sneha Singh, and School Captains Kushal Divyam & Shreya Singh, marking a smooth transition of leadership.

The Investiture Ceremony at JUSCO School South Park served as a platform to recognize and celebrate the leadership potential of the students, instilling in them a sense of responsibility and the desire to contribute positively to the school community.

As these young leaders embark on their new roles, they carry with them the hopes and aspirations of their fellow students, committed to fostering a nurturing and empowering environment within the school.

The ceremony stands as a testament to JUSCO School South Park’s dedication to holistic education, where academic excellence is complemented by the development of leadership skills, character building, and social responsibility among its students.
