Loyola School Recognizes Support Staff with Performances and Heartfelt Tributes on Labour Day
Loyola School in Bistupur hosted a grand Labour Day celebration at Fasy Auditorium, showcasing a blend of cultural performances and tributes to honor the school’s support staff.
JAMSHEDPUR – On May 1, 2024, the Loyola School community gathered at the Fasy Auditorium to pay homage to the efforts and dedication of their support staff during the Labour Day festivities.
The event was graced by prominent figures such as Father Rector KM Joseph, Father Victor Misquith, and Father Principal Vinod Fernandes, along with other senior school officials.
Students actively participated, with one delivering an educational speech about the significance of Labour Day and another sharing a poem expressing gratitude towards the school’s support staff.
The highlight of the event was a play titled ‘Shramik Samman’ performed by students, emphasizing the respect due to laborers for their invaluable contributions.
Additionally, a lively dance performance themed ‘We are the labourers’ further celebrated the hard work and dedication of the labor community.
Father Rector and Father Principal led the ceremonial appreciation of the support staff, presenting them with gifts as tokens of gratitude.
Students from standard 6 added a personal touch by crafting handmade flowers and greeting cards for the support staff, affectionately referred to as Didis and Bhaiyas.
James Laguri, representing the support staff, shared moving recollections of his experiences at the school, expressing heartfelt thanks to the school management.
Father Rector also imparted words of wisdom, encouraging everyone to practice compassion and sensitivity towards those who assist in making daily life smoother and more manageable.
The celebration concluded with Father Principal Vinod Fernandes extending a message of thanks, reinforcing the values of gratitude and recognition within the school community.
