Daring Daylight Attack Near Bagbera Leaves Two Injured, Suspects at Large

A man was critically injured following a brazen attack in his Jamshedpur residence, highlighting escalating gang tensions. Police are investigating the shooting that resulted in two victims and the assailants fleeing the scene.

JAMSHEDPUR – In a shocking development, a man was critically injured in a gunfire incident inside his home in Bagbera, while a woman also sustained injuries during the attack.

The violent encounter occurred early in the morning, around 9:30 AM, when armed assailants stormed into the residence.

The gunmen, approximately four in number, immediately opened fire upon entry, critically injuring the man and wounding a woman who found herself in the line of fire.

Both victims were quickly rushed to TMH, where the man remains in a critical condition, suffering gunshot wounds to his abdomen and hand.

The residence, located near Sidhu Kanhu Maidan within the jurisdiction of Baghbeda police station, became a crime scene that reflects the ongoing strife among local criminal factions.

Notably, the primary victim, identified as Bijay Kumar Singh alias Monu, was known to be affiliated with the Akhilesh Singh gang and had recent conflicts with another gang leader, Kanhaiya Singh.

The perpetrators managed to escape without capture, sparking a manhunt by local authorities.
