6TH Phase Lok Sabha Elections 2024 Announced for Ranchi

Detailed election schedule for Ranchi constituency released by District Election Officer.

The election schedule for Ranchi’s parliamentary constituency has been set following the issuance of the notification for the sixth phase of the Lok Sabha elections 2024.

RANCHI – The election schedule for Ranchi’s parliamentary constituency has been set following the issuance of the notification for the sixth phase of the Lok Sabha elections 2024.

District Election Officer Rahul Kumar Sinha provided an overview of the timeline during a press briefing.

Candidates are now able to submit their nomination papers, with the window remaining open until May 6.

Following the close of nominations, the papers will undergo scrutiny on May 7.

Candidates will have the opportunity to withdraw their nominations by May 9, after which the final list of candidates will be confirmed.

The election in Ranchi is scheduled for May 25, with vote counting slated for June 4 at the Pandara Bazaar Committee premises.

Ranchi district has a voter base of 24,88,715, comprising 12,55,479 male, 12,33,168 female, and 68 third gender voters.
