JMM Releases Second List of Candidates for Odisha Assembly Elections

The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) has announced its second list of candidates for the upcoming Odisha assembly elections, featuring Anjani Soren, sister of former Chief Minister Hemant Soren, as the candidate for the Saraskana constituency.
RANCHI – The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) has released its second list of candidates for the forthcoming Odisha assembly elections, with Anjani Soren, sister of former Chief Minister Hemant Soren, being nominated to contest from the Saraskana constituency.
Other candidates included in the list are Sunaram Tudu for Rairangpur, Vishnu Singh for Bangriposhi, Krishna Chandra Das for Morda, and Chakradhar Singh for Udla.
In addition to the candidate list, JMM has also expanded its roster of star campaigners by including three more names: JMM’s central secretaries Mohan Karmakar, Manoj Kumar Pandey, and Raju Giri.
A letter issued by the party stated that these leaders will plan their campaign journeys by air, road, and rail to reach out to the electorate across the state.
The inclusion of Anjani Soren in the candidate list highlights the party’s strategy to leverage the popularity and influence of the Soren family in Odisha politics.
