New Director Focuses on Passenger Services and Timely Trains

AL Rao has officially taken over as the new director of Tatanagar Railway Station, with a commitment to enhance passenger amenities and train services.

JAMSHEDPUR – AL Rao assumed the role of director at Tatanagar Railway Station on Saturday, bringing a fresh focus on improving passenger services and the punctuality of train operations.

Rao arrived at Tatanagar on Friday via the Utkal Express from Chakradharpur to take up his new duties.

Upon his arrival, he was warmly greeted by station officers and staff members.

In his first official act, Rao convened a meeting with station officials to gather essential information from various departments.

He emphasized that his primary goals are to boost the quality of passenger facilities and ensure the timely operation of trains at the station.

Rao also plans to work closely with all departments to maintain cleanliness and ensure the safety of passengers within the station premises.

The appointment follows the vacancy left by the former director, Raghuvansh Kumar, who was transferred two months ago as part of a broader shuffle by the South Eastern Railway.

The welcoming ceremony saw the presence of numerous officials, including Station Superintendent OP Sharma and Deputy Superintendent of Commerce Sunil Singh.
