Jamshedpur Advocates Demand Park Construction, Container Relocation at Court
Local Lawyers Insist on Immediate Changes in Court Infrastructure
In Jamshedpur, advocates recently held discussions with the ad-hoc Committee Chairman Lala Ajit Ambastha, pressing for significant changes at the court premises.
JAMSHEDPUR – The lawyers are advocating for the removal of two containers currently situated on the court grounds and the creation of a new park, in lieu of an earlier proposal to demolish an existing park for an e-court setup.
During a meeting with District and Sessions Judge Anil Kumar Mishra, the demands were put forward emphatically by the ad-hoc Committee.
In response, Judge Mishra ordered the immediate start of the park construction and made provisions for relocating the containers by demolishing a wall next to the bar building to accommodate seating for advocates.
The legal community has expressed a strong commitment to these changes, indicating they will not resume their court duties until the adjustments are completed.
Key figures at the meeting included Moderator Ajay Singh Rathore and senior advocate Devendra Singh, among other prominent local advocates.
