In response to the impending summer water crisis, District Magistrate Ananya Mittal led a crucial meeting with key officials to ensure a reliable drinking water supply in Jamshedpur.
JAMSHEDPUR – The session included stakeholders from the Urban Body and Drinking Water Sanitation Department, focusing on strategic responses to water supply challenges during the hot months.
Ananya Mittal stressed the importance of uninterrupted water service and mandated the creation of toll-free helpline numbers to handle public grievances quickly.
The directives include prompt complaint resolution and enhanced monitoring at both district and block levels to ensure service efficiency and accountability.
Officials are also tasked with the immediate repair of non-functional hand pumps and maintaining clear records of issues and actions taken, emphasizing transparency.
