Sangharsh Shanti Samithi Delegation Urges DC to Resolve Jugsalai Safiganj Water Woes

Chandra Pathak-led Team Submits Memorandum, Demands Improved Infrastructure and Uninterrupted Supply

A delegation from the Sangharsh Shanti Samithi Jharkhand Pradesh, spearheaded by its president Chandra Pathak, met with Ananya Mittal, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Jamshedpur, on Saturday to address the pressing water supply issues faced by residents of Safiganj Muhalla in Jugsalai.

JAMSHEDPUR – In a bid to alleviate the water crisis plaguing the residents of Safiganj Muhalla in Jugsalai, a delegation from the Sangharsh Shanti Samithi Jharkhand Pradesh, led by its president Chandra Pathak, approached Ananya Mittal, the DC of Jamshedpur, with a memorandum highlighting their grievances and proposed solutions.

The delegation strongly advocated for the installation of a 4-inch pipeline in Jugsalai Safiganj Muhalla, equipped with a pressure motor, curb stopper, and a new fast-filling motor in the water tank.

They emphasized the need for a fast-filling motor capable of filling the water tanker within 2 hours and a 4-inch pipeline directly connected to Safiganj Muhalla with a pressure motor to ensure efficient water distribution.

Furthermore, the delegation requested the DC to intervene and prevent electric power load shedding for a duration of 30 minutes to facilitate the uninterrupted supply of water to the households in Safiganj Muhalla.

Alternatively, they suggested allocating a suitable time slot for the water tanker to commence its supply, ensuring that water reaches all the houses in the area.

The delegation, comprising prominent members such as Chandra Pathak, Abhinav Goswami, Surya Pathak, Ankit, Abhishek, Prahalad Pathak, Karan, Sanjay Sharma, Naven, Suraj, Pawan, Vicky, and others, expressed their concerns and urged the DC to take swift action to resolve the long-standing water supply problem in Safiganj Muhalla.

The DC, Ananya Mittal, listened attentively to the delegation’s grievances and assured them that their concerns would be addressed promptly.

The meeting concluded with the DC’s assurance that the necessary steps would be taken to improve the water supply infrastructure in Safiganj Muhalla and ensure that the residents receive an adequate and uninterrupted supply of water.
