JAMSHEDPUR – The puja committees of the city have now kickstarted the preparations for Shardiya Navratri.
On Monday, the Bhoomi Pujan of the Durga Puja pandal of Sri Sri Shardiya Sarvajanik Durga Puja Samiti took place at Barmaines Carriage Colony.
Priest Siyaram Pandey performed the puja rituals with Vedic chanting.
With the Bhoomi Pujan, now the construction work of Puja pandal will start.
The licensee Kamlesh Dubey, President Rupam Sahu, and other members of the committee were specially present during Bhoomi Pujan.
Kamlesh Dubey, the licensee of the Pooja Committee, told that this time an imaginary Pooja Pandal worth about 5 lakhs is being constructed.
The construction work will be done by the pandal artisans of West Bengal.
Along with grand pandal, attractive electrical decorations will also be done.
Told that since 1962 public Durgotsav has been organized continuously in Carriage Colony.
