The International Conference on computer science and technology kicked off today at RVS College of Engineering and Technology in Jamshedpur, emphasizing the integration of Artificial Intelligence in various sectors. The two-day event, now in its fifth year, is a collaborative effort between IEEE Kolkata and RVS College, drawing in specialists from both academic and professional arenas.
JAMSHEDPUR – The International Conference on computer science and technology began today at RVS College of Engineering and Technology in Jamshedpur, emphasizing the integration of Artificial Intelligence in different streams of technology.
Bharat Singh, Secretary of R.V.S Educational Trust, inspired students at the conference, urging them to aim for excellence in both personal and professional achievements. This initiation set the tone for a series of forward-looking discussions on Artificial Intelligence and its applications.
Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar Tiwari welcomed participants with opening remarks, setting the stage for a series of enlightening discussions.
Prof. Dr. SM Mahboob Ul Haq Majumdar, joining remotely from Daffodil International University, Bangladesh, emphasized AI’s critical role in fields ranging from aviation to medicine.
The potential of Artificial Intelligence to drive economic recovery and growth during post-pandemic challenges was underlined by Prof. Dr. Abu Bakar Bin Abdul Hamid, who delivered the keynote address on its vital role.
Prof. Dr. G. Sahu, from ISMIIT Dhanbad, elucidated the core concepts of machine learning, a pivotal technology under the broader AI umbrella, stressing its importance for technological advancements.
In a more focused discussion, Dr. D.K. Singh, Vice Chancellor of Jharkhand University of Technology, highlighted the urgent need for research into the identification and filtration of fake digital content to ensure a safer social environment.
