Deceased Jyoti Agrawal’s Father Lodges FIR Against Husband, Alleges Marital Dispute

Police Investigate Multiple Angles, Including Hired Criminals and Domestic Issues

The murder case of Jyoti Agrawal, wife of Sonari-based businessman Ravi Agrawal, has taken a new turn with the deceased’s family lodging FIR against the husband and hintnig at marital disputes, while police investigate multiple angles, including that of hired criminals.

JAMSHEDPUR – The investigation into the murder of Jyoti Agrawal, wife of Sonari-based businessman Ravi Agrawal, has gotten more complicated after the deceased’s father Prem Agarwal filed an FIR for murder against his own son-in-law and the husband of the deceased, Ravi Agrawal, with Chandil police station.

The police are now looking into all angles of the case, including the possibility of hired criminals and domestic disputes.

The joint investigation by Chandil of Seraikela-Kharsawan and Jamshedpur police continues and it looks like the murder was likely carried out by hired criminals.

CCTV footage from Mini Punjab in Baliguma to Kanderbera has been examined to trace vehicle movement and identify potential suspects.

Marital Dispute Angle Emerges

The father has alleged in his FIR to Chandil police station that there was a marital dispute.

According to the FIR there was a dispute between the husband and wife, with a similar incident occurring during a trip to Gangtok.

The matter had calmed down, but the murder has once again raised questions about their relationship.

Notable Inconsistencies

Sources have noted inconsistencies in the account of the incident, raising suspicions about the motive behind the murder.

Sources point out, if the criminals had come for extortion or to target the husband, it is unclear why they fled after shooting the wife and did not attempt to shoot the husband, who was an easy target.

According to the husband’s account, the criminals were carrying pistols on both sides, but no bullets were fired at him.

Ongoing Investigation

As expected, the police are investigating all angles of the case, including the possibility of hired criminals and domestic disputes.

Jyoti Agrawal was cremated late in the evening at Swarnarekha Burning Ghat in Sakchi.

The investigation is ongoing, and the police are working to identify the criminals involved in the murder.
