MEDININAGAR – Gaurang Mahato, Subdivisional Officer (SDO) of Hussainabad, reviewed preparations for the upcoming subdivision-level health fair. The event, organized by the health department, aims to provide free healthcare services across three locations from January 20-22.

The health fairs will take place at Lohabandha Middle School in Mahudand on January 20, Adhaura Primary Health Center in Mohammadganj on January 21, and Imamnagar Barewa in Haidernagar on January 22. Services will include treatment for various ailments, screenings, vaccinations, and consultations.

Comprehensive Health Services

The fair will offer free screening for sickle cell anemia, blood pressure, diabetes, and tuberculosis. Pregnant women and infants will receive special attention, including vaccinations. Dental, eye, and family planning consultations will also be provided. Ambulance services will be available on-site to support attendees.

Call for Public Participation

SDO Mahato emphasized the importance of raising awareness about the event, instructing health workers to actively promote it two days in advance. “We urge residents to take full advantage of this health fair to ensure a healthier community,” he said.

Officials Present

The meeting included key officials such as BDO Sunil Kumar Verma of Hussainabad, BDO Vishwa Pratap Malwa of Haidernagar, and health manager Bibhuti Kumar Gupta, who discussed ways to ensure the fair’s success.
