Leopard Spotted in Jamshedpur Industrial Area Still at Large

Chaos erupts as a leopard was seen roaming inside a Jamshedpur company, causing work halt

A leopard sighting in the RSB Transmission Unit 1 of Jamshedpur’s Industrial Area caused widespread panic, leading to a temporary halt in operations and an ongoing search by forest officials. Efforts to capture the elusive animal involve teams from multiple regions.

ADITYAPUR – The search for the leopard is likely to continue into Monday as efforts to locate and safely capture the animal persist.

Forest department officials have set up camp in the area, signaling their commitment to resolving the situation.

Uncertainty looms over where the leopard might move next, heightening tension among local residents and workers.

Despite finding evidence of the leopard’s presence, including blood stains and claw marks, officials are cautious about confirming its identity without a successful rescue.

The discovery of a damaged and blood-stained toilet near the sighting location suggests the leopard might be injured.

The situation escalated when the leopard appeared to change its location within the company premises.

Efforts to involve experts from Ranchi and West Bengal were initiated after local teams lacked the necessary equipment to safely capture the leopard.

The forest department sprang into action following the confirmation of the leopard’s presence on CCTV, despite initial reluctance due to the lack of clear evidence.

News of the leopard sighting spread quickly after CCTV footage validated workers’ claims, causing widespread alarm.

A leopard was spotted wandering inside a company in Jamshedpur’s industrial sector, leading to immediate notification of forest authorities and a subsequent halt in operations.
