Ticket Booking Commences for Holi Special Trains from Tatanagar
Over 700 Seats Available for Barauni and Saharsa Routes
The ticket booking for Holi special trains from Tatanagar to Barauni and Saharsa has begun, with more than 700 seats currently available in both trains, as the South Eastern Railway Zone prepares to operate the Saharsa train via the Tatanagar-Katihar Express route.
JAMSHEDPUR – Furthermore, Bihar is conducting a survey of railway demand to operate Holi special trains on the Arrah, Buxar, and Chhapra routes. Given the high demand, the Railways is preparing to add additional coaches to trains from Tatanagar to Amritsar, Jammu, and other routes to accommodate passengers on the waiting list.
The Santragachi-Hubli Holi Express will operate up and down trips from March 27 to April 1 via Tatanagar and Chakradharpur. Other special trains include the Santragachi-Vasco da Gama departing from Tatanagar on March 27 and returning on March 30, and the Howrah-Mumbai Holi special leaving on March 25 and returning on March 27.
Additionally, the Tatanagar-Ernakulam Holi Special is slated for three trips between March 19 and April 3.
The Tatanagar to Barauni special train is scheduled to make three trips starting from March 23, while the Tata-Saharsa Holi special train will undertake nine round trips from March 18 onwards.
In anticipation of the Holi festival, six special trains have been announced from Tatanagar station to ensure smooth transportation for passengers traveling to Bihar.
